Our lives are so hectic that we seldom slow down to reflect and meditate. Often, we are just going through the motions of life with little to no thought at all. Yet, it is taking time to sit quietly to reflect and meditate that gives us clarity of purpose, helps us to remember why we do what we do, and reminds us of what is truly important in life.
My challenge to you is to take a little time to meditate today. You don’t have to start by doing it every day. Start small, perhaps taking a few minutes on Sunday evening as you begin to transition from your weekend to your work week…or maybe over your morning cup of coffee. Just give it a try. Any time spent in meditation is time well spent.
